Foals

We welcome the Akers to the Little America family with their purchase of some of our young horses. Coach Fred and his wife, Diane, witnessed the birth of this pretty colt while picking out four of our best. To celebrate we name the colt after him.

Silver Buckskin Colt

7/29/18 measured 26"
Sire: Rogers HSR Destiny at Last #20376 30.75"
Dam: Little America's Just Sensational #222306 30"
We were sharing our horses with Fred and Diane Akers and their daughter, Lesli, when Armando called and said that Just Sensational was going into labor. I asked them if they wanted to see a foal born and they said that they would so we went to the house where Just was starting to push as we arrived. It was a fairly brief and textbook delivery for the beautiful young mare's first foal. I asked the long time University of Texas Coach if he would mind if I named the colt after him and they all agreed that would be fun, so here he is!
His paternal grandsire is one of the winningest Buckeroo horses of history, Alvadar's Double Destiny, with the following outstanding show record at the AMHA World Show:
