This is a long anticipated foal. We took two mares to Florida last year to breed to the outstanding driving horse owned by Don and Mary Lou Knaap, Phantom Storm, who is the winner of twenty-nine World Grand, World Champion, or World Reserve Champion titles in AMHA and many other awards in both AMHA and AMHR. His dam is a multiple Top Ten winner, including Liberty in a class of 52! We are hoping that this long legged colt will live up to his background and put Lauren in the winner's circle consistently when he is old enough to drive. Rosaline was good enough to have her foal on Easter Sunday before Lauren left to go back to grad school. She had given me strict instructions NOT TO LOSE THIS FOAL!!! Luckily he was born in the evening the first time she set off the beeper and our whole family got to be there to celebrate.
