Sorrel appaloosa
March 6, 1995
Measured 32.5"
AMHA 83380
Sire: Yellow Diamond Little Feather
Dam: Stout's Red Feather
Ruby Feather's sire was one of the best known apps in the country; he sold for $60,000 at the Hunt House Dispersal. This mare is proving to be an outstanding asset to our appaloosa program. So far every foal has been an outstanding appaloosa, and we used one of her sons in our breeding operation for two years. She would make an excellent companion of another horse or other animals. She only has one eye and is not recommended as a pet.

Measured 28"
AMHA 85706 R86332A
Sire: Lazy H Desert Storm
Dam: Little America's Kewpie Tornado
If we had to choose one mare for the title of best tiny broodmare, Honeymoon would have to win the honor. Most of her foals have made their way into our show string. All of them mature under 30", and one of them, Little America's W. T. Question Mark made his way into our sire roster! Another of her tiny sons, Little America's Silver Keepsake, is heading a tiny beautiful breeding program in Arkansas. She would be a wonderful addition to a loving family wanting a pet for a small child to introduce to the world of horses!

Black Appaloosa
April 19, 2003
Measured 28"
AMHA 140931
Sire: Little America's Tex Lil Feather
Dam: Little America's D. S. Black Beauty
Evenstar's dam belongs to Lauren and was an AMHA Top Ten mare as well as a Supreme Halter Horse, Reserve National Champion, and only 27" tall! Her sire is a young stallion who is a snowcap which is believed to be homozygous for appaloosa coloration, although there is not a DNA test for it yet. So far he has had two foals, both apps, so maybe the appaloosa "old-timers" are right, since both of the mares were black.
